In addition to everything I offer here are sewandquilt.ca, I will be adding a Creative Reuse Space
Our Creative Reuse Space will will have fabric and fiber craft stocked with the unused items of other sewers. My goal is to supply everyone with affordable materials while helping those with too much reduce their stashes in a comfortable way.
By donating fabric and other fiber-craft materials, you can help to create a space where everyone can afford to make and create, while keeping usable sewing supplies out of landfills!
To donate materials:
- Walk-In Donations: Call for an appointment
Monday to Sunday 10am-9pm
Accepted Items:
- Sewing, quilting, fiber arts and needlecraft materials, tools, patterns, books, equipment.
Examples:
Fabric / Textiles: fabric bolts, remnants (18”x18” or larger), fur, leather, appliques, embellishments, patches, ribbon, trim, cut quilting squares (any size)
Sewing: buttons, fasteners (snaps, hooks, eyelets, etc.), iron on transfer, sewing machines in good working order, machine feet, marking chalk, needles, notions, patterns, pins, scissors, tape measures, thimbles, thread (spools, embroidery), trim, zippers
Needlework: cross stitch, embroidery, hoops, looms, yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks
Not accepted: Items with strong odors.
